30 day paleo challenge results

i was going to wait another day since today is technically my 30th day, but tomorrow i’m taking caleb to spend THE WEEKEND with my mom and step dad.

i’ve only had 2 meltdowns about it.

ok, maybe 3 and a chocolate binge.

but we’re good now.

no thanks to chocolate.

anyway,  i’ve attached a document that has my results (weight included, yikes!) from my first 30 day challenge.  at first glance, my results don’t seem too awesome.  but, if you saw my measurement track from june 2010, then you would be impressed. i promise. 🙂  it took me eight months to do what paleo did for me in one.  so i think i’ll stick to it for awhile.

i start my 2nd 30 day challenge on monday!

  1. I’m impressed, Shari! I would love to do something like this after baby boy comes, but I just don’t think I could give up my dairy! Especially milk. Maybe I could do it for 30 days and if I loved the results so much, then I might consider it. 🙂
I love reading your blog! I didn’t comment before, but I am so sorry about your miscarriage. I can’t imagine how you felt but I am inspired by Dane’s and your faith in the sovereignty of His plan. You are such an encouragement to me! 🙂

I felt the same way about dairy and milk, but I didn’t miss it as much as I thought. I used to go through one or two gallons of milk a week on my own in college (kinda ridiculous). Eventually you just get used to drinking water all the time and forget you ever drank that much milk to begin with. I haven’t looked back, and I’m sure my digestive system is thankful.

God gets all glory in every situation. I’m glad our story could encourage and inspire someone.

Woohoo! Round 2 starts today!!! I’m so proud of you!

  4. Way to go! We weigh the same! I’ve lost 70 pounds not eating dairy and breastfeeding!
